GRAPHIC ART, 3D MODELLER OR ANIMATOR WORK EXPERIENCE

We can offer work experience for artists / animators passionate about the console game industry. Dedicated game developers living in Perth, Western Australia only please. If you are an artist living in Perth you must be completing or have completed a relevant University level degree. Post graduate Tafe level qualifications are acceptable, but the applicant must be experienced in software packages such as 3DS Max, Maya and Photoshop.

We can offer up to 20 days experience. You will work with the team on a range of small projects. If we can, will try to accommodate you to best suit to your skill-set or interest

PROGRAMMER WORK EXPERIENCE

Job Description:

We’re looking for that special someone who is interested in getting in on the ground floor and growing with a small company with an eye to the future. Bungarra is an independent developer/ publisher based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Founded in August 1998, Bungarra develops high-quality, high-impact, multi-platform sports games. Bungarra has worked with larger Publishers such as EA and Vivendi Universal and Bungarra is currently developing and publishing its next project – a third person surfing game.

Bungarra seeks to provide a home to highly creative, passionate, and self-motivated individuals who excel in a collaborative environment which offers the rewards and responsibilities of personal ownership, for both specific project tasks as well as for the Company in general.

We have a Contract programming position open for a talented and experienced Network programmer. Commercial games experience is essential with at least three years and one published title on PS3 or Xbox 360 to demonstrate your skills. We are looking for a talented engineer to help us in developing advanced networking solutions for large scale games. You should have a positive attitude, a passion for games and be able to communicate with people as effectively as you do a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and extend current Network systems on Xbox 360 and PS3.
  • Design and  implement low bandwidth game synchronization systems

Qualifications

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills
  • Strong OO design skills
  • At least 3 years commercial games programming experience with an emphasis on Network      programming on at least 1 published title on PS3 or Xbox 360.
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Passion for playing and making games

Skills

  • Experience working with low-level network libraries
  • Experience with  Xbox and Sony platform SDKs for networking
  • Experience synchronizing large open-world environments within limited bandwidth constraints
  • Experience working with 3rd party Networking and graphic API’s
